The Poztter Community is where you create your Master record, establish your identity, and share your POZ. Browser-based, no installation, no servers of your own required.

what is POZ?

POZ is a collection of open standards — a file format and network protocols — designed to fix, improve, and replace many of the stale, incomplete, or unfriendly technologies currently used on the internet.

Two ideas drive it. The first is trust: defensive standards have plateaued while malicious actors have not. POZ uses cryptography to its fullest to close the gap. The second is identity: a single identity should extend across every service a person uses — websites, email, social media, even phone and street address — so the question "is this really them?" has a verifiable answer.

To begin using POZ, it all starts with creating your Master record, establishing your identity, and sharing your POZ. The Poztter Community provides an easy-to-use, browser-based way to:

Create a Master record.

Generate your signing keys and your Master Zone. Configure who controls the record — yourself, or yourself plus trusted partners.

Establish identity.

Add attestations from providers — your domain registrar, your social profile, your email host. Each attestation is signed and verifiable.

step 03

Share your POZ.

Publish your record so others can find and verify it. Update it whenever your identities, services, or recovery setup changes.

In the POZ system, trust is best when it is distributed and placed in the hands of trustworthy people. The Poztter Community is the first of what we hope will become many — and people exploring POZ for the first time aren't typically looking for a long-term trust relationship. They want to dive in and take POZ for a test spin. We encourage that spirit of exploration.
